We have very great pleasure inviting you to join us for our twelfth Country Dancing weekend. This year we return to Torquay with yet another exciting line up - the wonderful combination of Geoff Cubitt and The Weston Country Dance Band. We look forward to superb dancing (as usual) at this lovely Hotel & Leisure Complex. The cost this year will be £100.00 per person plus £2.00 for club membership for the new season. Single rooms are available for a supplements of £8.00 per night. There are alternatives to avoid the supplement, so contact John or Lynne for details. A non refundable deposit of £25.00 (or £27.00) per person is required no later than 15th NOVEMBER 2008 and the balance is due by 15th JANUARY 2009. All cheques should be made payable to FRENCHAY FOLK DANCE CLUB. Sorry - no refunds after 12th February 2009 unless we are able to resell your booking. This year numbers will have to be limited as the Ballroom is smaller so early booking is recommended. The weekend activities commence on Friday, 13th March 2009 with Dinner at 6.00pm. (although you are requested not to arrive before 3.00p.m.) and end with a dance on Sunday afternoon. Meals included are:- Friday Evening Meal Saturday Breakfast and Evening Meal Sunday Breakfast and Lunch Tea or Coffee will be provided by the Hotel during the breaks, including at the end of dancing on Sunday, at no extra charge. Sunday night at the hotel is available at the cost of £34.00 (plus any supplement) per person for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. Bookings for the Sunday night should be made with us and payment included with the balance. If you still have any energy left there is usually dancing on the Sunday evening or you can enjoy the facilities of The TLH Leisure Resort (www.tlh.co.uk). For the TLH Leisure Resort and our Hotel turn off the A379 (on the sea front) into Belgrave Road by The Premier Travel in/Beefeater. It is very close to the main Torquay Railway Station. The Hotel phone number is 01803 400200. Anyone on a special diet can bring any breads, spreads or drinks and the Hotel will look after them. Finally, we recommend Holiday Insurance to provide protection for liability for Personal Injury or Property Damage, Loss of Baggage or Cash & Cancellations.
